Encryption Management
Encryption Management provides for the installation, configuration, and management of encryption solutions for County data at rest on servers, workstations, laptops, and removable media to support risk reduction, data integrity, and compliance.

- Full disk end point encryption solutions for Workstations and Laptops
- Removable Media encryption solution
- File and Folder encryption for server locations
- Integration with Active Directory
- Key and passphrase management
- Encryption software license procurement
- Encryption software license management

- What are the requirements/pre-requisites for this service?
- ITS management of the systems holding the data.
- Purchase of the encryption product licenses required.
- Knowledge and categorization of the data requiring encryption.
- Location of data in the supported environments, ie. MS windows systems, supported removable data devices, etc.
- What is the turn around time for service delivery?
- This is dependent upon the specific requirements and complexity of the request.
- What are the responsibilities of customer?
- Business requirements document including the scope of the desired certificate implementation.
- Designated department contact and project management resource.
- Possible rollout support if available.
- Participation in regular status meetings.

- Handled by IT Steering Committee and Department Heads.
